Welcome to our beekeeping journey!
Our story began in 2016 when we took up beekeeping as a way to relax and relieve stress. Starting with just a couple of nucs, we nurtured our colonies and learned the ropes. We split the hives into three during the first year, but unfortunately, one hive didn’t survive the winter.
Despite the setback, we pressed on, continuing to split and expand. By the second year, we had seven hives, but we made a mistake when purchasing packages from the south. Those bees didn’t make it through the journey, arriving in poor condition.
That experience motivated us to take matters into our own hands. We decided to create our own hives, breed local queens, and become more self-reliant. By the third year, our apiary had grown to around 20 hives, and things kept getting better.
Around the fourth year, we began grafting and raising queens, which opened up exciting possibilities. Today, we’ve expanded our operations to include selling honey, nucs, and queens.
Beekeeping is both an art and a science. It requires constant maintenance, animal husbandry, and creative problem-solving to keep our bees healthy and thriving. We take joy in working with our bees and watching their amazing comb-building skills in action.
We’re passionate about beekeeping and love what we do. Join us on this journey as we celebrate nature’s little wonders and their crucial role in our ecosystem. Explore our products and be part of our beekeeping community!
